Permaculture Design Concepts Introduced to Faculty

Per a grant made possible by the Hartford School District, our faculty gathered in late May to begin a multi-step professional development process to incorporate permaculture design into both the landscape and the curriculum at UVWS. After meeting with a local permaculture designer, staff, parents, and board members were asked to provide feedback to clarify our priorities as a community as we co-create a realistic and successful permaculture plan. We are excited to embark on this journey to cultivate more resilience at our school.
